old things

Wed Sep 15, 2004, 12:56 PM
I am sumbitting some of my older poetry. I'd always been of the opinion that my old stuff sucks, but as I rummaged through it recently to show it to a friend, I noticed that there is a bit of potential in some of it. So I decided to post it.
I discouraged critique on all of them. These pieces are old and I feel that they need to remain just the way they are. I just want to share them and I'd love some comments.

 If you think they have potential, why don't you want them to change? You're contradicting yourself  lol :D

Lol, no. That's not how I meant it. I meant that they showed that I have potential. And I have changed and become a better writer. They sort of bear witness to this transition, and that is why I don't want them changed. They were what I was capable of at the time.
