So it really is sad we never ...
I am sure we could have

SinfulOur nights are stolen: our lovers, our lives stripped at the door,Sinful
leaving only our scarred bodies

I wanted to be free of your dirty love, thought I'd date other fish, grow up, move on.
Nothing hurts forever, and some men tried to kiss it all better. But no one kisses like you do.
And every night the shadow of the memory of you crawled into bed with me and held me tight.
And time stretched and grew and then it collapsed in on itself violently and when we looked up and dusted ourselves off we were

I know! The happier I am about life, the less I feel capable of writing. The trick is to just write anyway and spend a lot of time editing. It helps a little. Still, I'd much rather be a failure as a poet and happy than depressed and famous.
